What we do

After School Classes

We offer afterschool classes in Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture for kids in grades 1st-5th. If you love to create and want to get even better, these are for you! They are offered at the Lilburn Activity Building (788 Hillcrest Rd) and at Mountain Park Elementary School.

We also offer a bi-monthly Manga Club for ages 12-16, which meets in different locations. In this student-led club we collaborate on projects, such as mini-comics and animations.

Masters in the Making

Homeschool Classes

I bring my training and experience in art making and teaching to small groups. We offer two kinds of homeschool classes. Art in Time is a project-based art history course that explores how culture, technology and history contributes to the kinds of art that are made and vice versa. The Drawing Intensive teaches the technical skills that lets an artist get their ideas out of their head and onto paper.

Nature Play is a Bigs+Littles class, exclusively outdoors, with Alison Hux. This child-led exploration of our natural world incorporates science, art, reading, and more. Based on “A Child’s World” curriculum, this class is for children 3 – 6 years and a participating adult. Every Tuesday morning during this 8 week course we’ll gather in weather-appropriate play clothes, Rain, Snow, or Shine!
